Randy Weil, coach EiffelTowers:
"Anytime a team like Gmunden has home court advantage, you hope to come off a good start. Their previous results, for example against Red Star, say a lot about their strength. We were shaky for the first five minutes but then we played a good game. We were good defensively. And defense made us play good offense."
Anthony Richardson, player of the EiffelTowers:
"We played hard and put it together. We played as a team. If we play as a team, we can do anything."
Bob Gonnen, coach Allianz Swans:
"They played well tonight and we didn't. They made key shots and dominated the boards. We played hard but made too many mistakes - mental mistakes. Maybe we wanted too much."
Shelton Colwell (injured) player of the Allianz Swans:
"They hit the boards really hard and played a little bit tougher than we did."
