Ros Casares blew out Broker Kosice 98-53 in Valencia on Tuesday to get their EuroLeague Women play-off campaign off in style.
Recent signing Candace Wiggins scored 23 points on her European debut for Ros.
Winning coach Isma Cantó has had his team playing an up-tempo game all season and that style wreaked havoc on Kosice, who committed 30 turnovers.
Stefan Svitek, the Maxima Broker Kosice coach, admitted: "They played very well with their transition offense and they scored a lot of points after our mistakes."
Cantó made no apologies for the approach.
"We played as we need to play to win with a lot of intensity on both ends of the court," he said.
"We played hard on defense and this is the best way to win at home.
"This is only the first step to arrive to the Quarter-Finals and it's true that on Friday, the game will be very different."
Ros jumped out to a 19-10 lead in the first quarter and had a 44-19 stranglehold on proceedings by half-time.
Delisha Milton-Jones had 18 points, Brazil international Erika 17 and Amaya Valdemoro 17 for Ros.
Team captain Elisa Aguilar didn't score but had 10 assists.
For Kosice, Liron Cohen scored 15 points. She also finished with a game-high six turnovers.
