Jolly JBS Sibenik destroyed Union Hainaut Basket in their EuroLeague Women encounter in Croatia on Wednesday.
While the final score was 79-70, the Croatian team led from start to finish and had a vice-like grip on proceedings at half-time with a 60-36 advantage.
At the break, Kerri Garden had 21 of her game-high 28 points.
Jolly JBS stormed into a 16-4 lead midway through the opening quarter and were on top 31-19 by the end of the opening frame.
The blowout was on after the home side reeled off the first seven points of the third quarter for a 38-19 advantage.
Jolly JBS were in command the rest of the way, though they did go cold late in the game when failure to score for more than three minutes allowed Union Hainaut Basket to close the gap to 75-68 with 1:17 remaining.
The visitors from France got no closer, however.
Kathy Wambe led Union Hainaut Basket with 16 points. They outrebounded Jolly JBS 41-33 but their three-point shooting was an abysmal four of 17 (23.5%).
