Umana Reyer Venezia claimed their fourth straight triumph in the EuroLeague Women after pulling away in the fourth quarter for an 81-63 win at ESB Lille Metropole.
Simona Ballardini had 27 points and Daliborka Jokic 16 for the visitors.
Ballardini was four of seven from behind the arc on Wednesday and the Venezia team made eight 16 while Lille were only three of 12.
In the first minute and a half, the Italians looked as if they were about to deliver a knockout.
Ballardini scored the contest's opening four points and the Italians built a 9-0 lead.
Lille didn't go away, though, and trailed 37-31 at half-time.
In the third quarter, Umana Reyer's undefeated season looked to be in danger when Lille not only clawed their way back but took an eight-point lead.
In the final frame, though, the Venezia club scored 27 points while restricting Lille to just 10.
Brazilian Iziane scored 16 points in defeat.
Abdou N'DIAYE (ESB Lille head coach):
"They varied a lot in defense, which caused problems for us. This defeat is really frustrating. We lost the game in the last quarter when my team decided to stop playing."
Massimo RIGA (Umana Reyer head coach):
"We are very happy because it was our fourth win and we are still first in this group. In the third quarter we had some difficulties but we managed to win this game in the last quarter."
