Vajda scored 23 points and collected 11 rebounds despite sitting out most of the fourth quarter with the game already in the bag.
The 1.90m forward made nine of 15 (60%) from the field and added three of four from the free throw line in a dominant performance.
After the teams traded baskets in the early stages, Mizo used an 11-1 run at the end of the first quarter, sparked by Kornelia Meszaros' three-pointer, to take control.
Down 27-12 early in the second, Besiktas responded, reeling off 12 straight points to close it to 27-24 as Shay Doron sank a pair of free throws.
But that proved to be the wake up call the hosts needed as they came back with a run of their own, scoring the next nine points to re-establish a double-digit lead, and they were in control of the rest of the way.
Meszaros' jumper with 2:33 left in the third quarter sparked a 15-1 run that continued into the fourth quarter and put the result beyond doubt.
Brooke Queenan and Meszaros both added 11 points for Mizo.
Alexis Hornbuckle did her best to match Vajda, and finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the losing effort for Besiktas.
Doron had 13 points and Laura Harper 12 for the Turkish club.
Mizo move up to 4-3, while Besiktas must content themselves with climbing off the bottom of Group A at 2-5.
