Péter Lóránt poured in 18 points and Marton Fodor contributed 16 as hosts Hungary beat Estonia 75-64 in EuroBasket Relegation Round play on Tuesday.
The Hungarians looked to be in troubled when they trailed 59-56 with 7:34 remaining after a Tanel Tein lay-up for Estonia.
But the Baltic country went ice cold for the next five and a half minutes and paid the price.
Hungary ended up outscoring the Baltic country 19-5 over the last seven and a half minutes of the game for a decisive victory.
A Lóránt lay-up closed the gap to 59-58 and then baskets by Gergely Körtélyesi and Istvan Nemeth put the home side in front for good.
Hungary won despite shooting just 50% (10 of 20) at the free-throw line and being out-rebounded 37-30.
Tein's 17 points led Estonia.
Hungary are now 2-1 in the Relegation Round while Estonia are 1-2.
