Bosnia & Herzegovina 65 Turkey 86
// 23 August 2008

Turkey again got off to a lightning-quick start en route to a 86-65 road win over Bosnia & Herzegovina, making it three wins out of three in their EuroBasket Women qualification campaign.

Racing out of the blocks in a repeat of the midweek win over Finland, Turkey got back-to-back three-pointers from Yasemin Horasan and Emine Tugba Palazoglu to go 19-4 ahead.

The hosts got back within 10 points at 26-17 when Azra Benirovic nailed a three-pointer eight seconds into the second quarter but, after Turkey's lead was cut to only seven, the visitors moved back through the gears to take control.

The score was 45-32 at half-time and there would be no way back for Bosnia & Herzegovina, who are now winless after three games.

Nevriye Yilmaz shot eight of 12 (67%) from two-point range to collect 18 points and five rebounds, while Palazoglu added 14 and Saziye Karsli 12 for Turkey.

Aida Pilav shot seven of 12 (58%) from two-point range to lead Bosnia & Herzegovina with 19 points while Becirovic had 14 and Leija Bejtic 12.
