COACH QUOTES

Quotes Finland vs. Poland

Krzysztof Koziorowic, Poland coach:

"It is very hard to motivate a team for a game like this, because we had already secured a spot for the 2009 EC-games. Tonight I was especially happy with the effort of our youngest players."

Agnieszka Zalesiak, Poland player:

"Not an easy game for us, but we came focused and got the win."

Domingo Diaz, Finland coach:

"Poland and Turkey were easily the best two teams in our group and they deserved to advance. I want to thank the whole Finnish team and staff for working hard this summer. I apologize that we couldn't achieve our goal and I wish all the best to the next head coach of team Finland."

Michaela Moua, Finland player:

"Poland didn't miss many shots tonight and they played they way an experienced team should play. We simply couldn't match their toughness."
