Ibrahim Jaaber scored eight of his game-high 29 points in a decisive 16-0 run in the third quarter as Bulgaria got their EuroBasket qualifying campaign back on track with a victory over Finland.
Pini Gershon's team was pushed extremely hard by the fantastic Finns but ultimately won 102-90.
Jaaber also had eight rebounds and six assists.
Bulgaria improved to 4-2 in Group A and climbed back into first place over Serbia (4-1).
The Finns lost for the second time to Bulgaria and are now 2-3.
Gershon's team opened up a 29-22 lead by the end of the first quarter only for Finland to come storming back.
The visitors, hammered 90-68 by Bulgaria in the first game between the sides, took a 47-46 advantage to half-time after a Shawn Huff three-pointer.
He scored 26 points and pulled down seven boards on the night.
Finland were in the ascendancy and led 51-48 in the third quarter when Jaaber and Bulgaria hit like a bolt of lightning.
Jaaber drilled a three to tie the game and start a 16-0 run that left the home side leading 64-51 with 4:48 to go in the third quarter.
Finland reduced the arrears to eight points in the third quarter and after falling behind by as many as 14 in the the fourth, the Finns went on an 8-0 run to cut the deficit to 92-85 with 1:15 left in the game.
Dimitar Angelov hit two free throws to settle the Bulgarian nerves.
