Russia remained perfect in Group F of the Qualifying Round of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Men with a 75-62 win over Croatia.
This win brings Russia very close to the semi-finals with a 4-0 record, while Croatia is now 1-3 and a step closer to the 9-12 games.
Dmitry Kulagin scored 22 for Russia and Alexander Varnakov added 14.
Boris Barac led croatia with 21 points and seven rebounds while Roko Rogic scored 17.
Russia dominated the game from the first minutes.
Croatia managed to get as near as four points in the second quarter but Russia connected three pointers to take off for the last and deciding time.
Already after two minutes Russia held a 7-1 lead.
Croatia couldn't score points and after seven minutes still collected only three points and were down by ten.
Russia finished the quarter with a 20-8 lead but Rogic and Barac swept their team back in the game, just four points behind, 24-20.
A three pointer before the break gave Russia some breathing room with a seven point half-time lead, but when Kulagin and Mikhail Karpachev added two more the margin was 13.
The rain of three pointers continued as the gap extended above the 20's.

Russia will play Turkey tomorrow where the winner will lock their semi-finals spot, while Croatia will take on Israel to decide which of them will play the 5-8 games.
