I'm really happy that we finally won because we had big problems during this game and made it back after 16 points. And specially I wanna thank Duane Woodward. We need him to win big games like today and I'm sure that our problems in the first half was bacause of using Woodward incorrectly. Of course we played good defense in the second half but I'm sure that the key reason of the win is the good game of Woodward and Vasiliy Zavoruev. They controlled the game from the perimeter and opened the space for our bigmen.

Duane Woodward, AEL guard:

I'm very happy for this game. The first half was bad for us. We got minus 12 points. But we worked hard, stayed together as a team and in the second half made a comeback.

Igors Miglinieks, Spartak head coach:

I liked the emotions of the team. We made changes playing without Markota now. Today you saw a new face - Goritskov and I liked that I could move my players like chips, it becomes more controlled. There was not enough experience of Korchagin on the last minutes. Smith also can't win the game as the point-guard, that's why we had offensive problems. Also Zavoruev and Woodward made good 3-point shots.

Rafael Araujo, Spartak center:

We started to play as a team but we are really upset because of this loss. We are all responsible for this game and I'm really upset. But we have to work hard to improve the game and to win in the future. There are no teams which loose all the time.
