Dynamo Moscow eased past TEO Vilnius 90-63 in Wednesday's EuroLeague Women encounter to climb into second in Group D.
The Russians, who are 6-4, will be hoping the only unbeaten team in the pool, Ros Casares, do them a favor by winning against MiZo Pecs 2010, who are (6-3) in order to seal second spot in the group and home court advantage for the eighth-finals.
Dynamo had huge contributions from Latvian star Anete Jekabsone-Zogota and American power forward Seimone Augustus with 27 points apiece.
Jekabsone connected on four of five (80%) shots from behind the arc while also dishing out four assists.
Yelena Leuchanka scored the first four points of the game as Vilnius (3-7) enjoyed an inspiring start and led 18-17 going into the second quarter.
Both teams exchanged the lead over the next seven minutes but Dynamo went into the break with a 40-33 advantage.
Dynamo played the waiting game after the break with TEO keeping the game close before eventually building a 60-46 lead with 11 minutes remaining.
Dynamo went on a 22-6 run at the beginning of the final quarter to claim a decisive victory.
Lithuania center Gintare Pretonyte led Vilnius in scoring with 14 points.
TEO had a terrible shooting night, making just three of 18 (16.7%) from long range while their opponents finished seven of 13 (53.8%).
