Gambrinus Brno kept pace with Spartak Moscow Region in Group C of the EuroLeague Women by hammering Kosit 2013 in Slovakia.
The Czech Republic giants won for the seventh time in eight games.
Kosit 2013 (3-5) battled and only trailed 50-33 late in the third quarter after a jump shot by the outstanding USA international Janel McCarville.
That basket gave her 23 points on the night. But she was shut out the rest of the way, and Gambrinus' excellent depth and talent won the day.
Czech international Hana Machova finished with a team-high 16 points for Gambrinus, and Tamika Whitmore, a Rest of the World Team All Star last year who played a vital role for Spartak in winning the EuroLeague Women title, finished with 15 and six rebounds.
Leading by seven after that McCarville's final basket of the game, Whitmore made two free throws to spark an 8-0 run that the Slovakian team never recovered from.
The lead grew to as many as 21 points late in the fourth quarter for Jan Bobrovsky's team.
Gambrinus out-rebounded Kosit 2013 44-30, and they held their hosts to 19 of 50 (38%) shooting inside the arc while making 44.2% (23 of 52) themselves.
