swayed this way and that before the hosts finally pulled clear in the final seconds.
Bourges, who are now on a 1-2 record as well, had a game-high haul from Australian power forward Belinda Snell (19 points) but they were just pipped at the end.
It was nip and tuck throughout an even first half, with the opening quarter ending 23-22 in Bourges' favour.
The Spaniards had edged ahead 38-35 by the half-time hooter and at the start of the third quarter, they pushed 42-37 clear.
But inspired by Snell, the French side - who qualified for the competition's Final Four last season - bounced back and scored the quarter's last nine points to lead 54-50 going into the last 10 minutes.
Neither side were able to stretch clear in a tight, low-scoring fourth quarter, building up to a tense final two minutes.
Montanana and Silvia Dominguez landed jumpers to push Halcon 67-62 up with 10 seconds left and Sonja Petrovic replied with a two-pointer of her own to make it 67-64.
Halcon's Anke De Mondt and Bourges' Nora Bujdoso exchanged a pair of free-throws before the French side's hopes evaporated when time ran out.
