Halcon Avenida stayed on track for a place in the eighth-finals of the EuroLeague Women with an 80-73 win over ZVVZ Prague.
The victory was the Spanish club's fourth in Group B and leaves them one game clear of Jolly JBS Sibenik, who won on the road on Wednesday at Wisla Can-Pack Krakow.
Brazil international center Alessandra Santos had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead Avenida, who finish their group play at home against UMMC Ekaterinburg next week.
The hosts trailed 38-35 at half-time but outscored their visitors 25-17 in the third quarter and that propelled them to victory.
Lubor Blazek, the Prague coach whose team is eliminated from eighth-finals contention, said: "I am sad because we have lost. We did our best."
Prague (2-7) did battled and closed the gap to 72-70 in the final quarter, but the Salamanca club then reeled off eight straight points to clinch the win.
Lubor Blazek, Prauge Coach:
"I am sad because we have lost. We did our best."
Sandra Le Drean, Prauge:
"The defense has been the key of the game. At the end, the referees have taken wrong decisions."
José Ignacio Hernández, Avenida Coach:
"It has beeen a very difficult game against a very strong rival that has shown the great level of this group B."
Isabel Sánchez, Avenida:
"We weren't well in the second quarter, but the most important thing is we are in the next round and we are going to travel to Moscow."
