UMMC Ekaterinburg used a dominant second-half showing to see off Halcon Avenida 90-64 in the EuroLeague Women.
The game was finely poised at half-time with Ekaterinburg (5-0) leading 42-37, but they pulled away over the final two quarters to maintain their perfect record and put the Spanish at 2-3.
Halcon only held the lead for the briefest of periods in the first quarter but caused their hosts considerable discomfort over the first 20 minutes.
A jump shot from Ivanka Matic pulled the scores level at 18-18 towards the end of the first quarter and Anke De Mondt again restored parity at 23-23 with a tap-in in the second.
But Agnieszka Bibrzycka made a three-pointer followed by a jump shot to help the Russians establish a lead at the midway point.
And things quickly took a decisive turn in the third quarter as Ekaterinburg went on a 16-3 run, helped by all eight of Suzy Batkovic's points for the match, to pull into a 62-45 lead.
Halcon never recovered, despite 16 points and six rebounds from Brazil star Alessandra Santos and Anna Montanana's contribution of 15 points and nine rebounds.
Bibrzycka poured in a game-leading 17 points for the winners, while Australia star Penny Taylor pulled down 11 rebounds to go with her nine points.
Sandrine Gruda contributed 16 points and six rebounds.
