Jolly JBS Sibenik edged Wisla Can-Pack in a Group B thriller in the EuroLeague Women on Wednesday.
The Croatian outfit won 65-64 to leave both sides at 2-2.
Sibenik led by as many as 10 points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth quarter, but Wisla persevered and almost won at the end.
Candice Dupree made two free throws with just over a minute remaining to leave Sibenik clinging to a 62-61 lead, and then Jelena Skerovic buried a three-ball to put the visitors into a 64-62 advantage with just 22 seconds remaining.
But the home fans would end up celebrating after center Tihana Juric, who had missed all eight of her shots from long range on the night, stepped outside and drilled a three-pointer for Sibenik with three seconds remaining.
American shooting guard Anna De Forge was able to get off a jumper with a second remaining that would have given the visitors from Poland the victory, but she was off target.
Juric had 24 points, five rebounds and five assists while playing the entire game.
Wisla were just nine of 15 (60%) at three free throw line, compared to 14 of 18 (77.8%) for the winners.
