ESB Lille Metropole beat Phard Napoli 82-79 in overtime to stay in the hunt for a place in the eighth-finals of the EuroLeague Women.
Fatimatou Sacko scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the French to their third victory in nine games in Group A.
A win at home to Fenerbahce next week could see them climb into the top four, which would be good enough to progress in the competition.
TTT Riga are currently in fourth place but they also have a 3-6 record.
Lille outscored their visitors 21-17 in the final quarter to force the overtime, and once there, the game was tied on three separate occasions.
When Belgian international Kathy Wambe made one of two free throws for an 80-79 lead with just 37 seconds left, Lille had the lead for good.
Bénédicte Fombonne of Lille said after the game that her team was never going to give up.
"We absolutely wanted this victory tonight so we played hard during the 40 minutes," she said.
"We had to find confidence and tonight we show that all is possible in sport."
Phard Napoli were eliminated from contention for the next round with this defeat as they slipped to 1-8.
Abdou N'DIAYE, Lille Coach:
"It was an important victory because we had to win this Euroleague game. We make the best we can without Lub Drljaca and we played good defense tonight. Emotion was good with the fans. But this was very difficult, Naples could have won this game."
