Olexandra Gorbunova scored 14 points and buried a couple of key jump shots late to lead MKB Euroleasing to a 65-61 home win over ESB Lille Metropole in EuroLeague Women Group A.
Gorbunova, an Ukraine international, also had 11 rebounds as the Hungarian team clinched its third win in six games.
The Lille club was in a good position to claim their second success in six EuroLeague Women games with a 59-54 lead six minutes from the end.
But they went ice cold the rest of the way, scoring just two more points.
A Gorbunova jump shot put MKB in front at 60-59 before Jucimara Evangelista Dantas split a pair of free throws for Lille with 2:20 remaining to level the scores.
With 1:51 to go, Belgium international Kathy Wambe went to the stripe and made one of two to put the visitors ahead again at 61-60.
Gorbunova replied with a jumper to give the home side the lead for good.
Bintou Diémé went to the other end and was off target with a three-ball, and guard Barbara Semsei struck with a jumper for MKB to extend the advantage to 64-61.
The French outfit still had a chance to get back on level terms, but Diémé missed again from long range and MKB rebounded.
Katalin Honti added a free throw for the Hungarian side for the final score.
Geraldine Yema Robert had 13 points and 10 boards for ESB Lille Metropole, who dropped to 1-5.
