Timea Ivkovicne Beres led a final-quarter scoring blitz as MiZo Pecs stunned Gambrinus Sika Brno to level up their EuroLeague Women Eighth-Final play-off at 1-1.
Gambrinus, the defending champions, trounced MiZo Pecs 80-47 in Game One and they looked set for a similarly comfortable evening on Friday as they build a 42-33 lead by the midway point of Game Two.
The Czech visitors then extended that advantage to 12 points at 47-35 following a Petra Kulichova lay-up three minutes into the third period.

MiZo Pecs clawed their way back slightly, but Gambrinus still seemed to be in control as the match entered the final 10 minutes with Jan Bobrovsky's side still boasting a 51-44 lead.
But a Nora Bujdoso three-pointer sparked a remarkable comeback from Mizo Pecs, who proceeded to outscore their opponents 28-5 in the last period to record a stunning 72-56 victory.
Ivkovicne Beres scored 10 of her match-high 22 points during that spell, while she also finished the match with eight rebounds and one assist.
Budjosa added 14 points and five rebounds for the Hungarian winners, while Dalma Ivanyi contributed 12 points, four rebounds and nine assists.
For shellshocked Gambrinus, Zuzana Zirkova was the only player to score in double-figures, netting 12 points and grabbing five rebounds.
The teams will now return to the Czech Republic for the deciding third match, which will be played in Brno next Wednesday.
