Gambrinus Sika Brno finished their EuroLeague Women Group C campaign on a high by battering strugglers Lotos Gdynia 92-51.

Fresh off their 254th consecutive win in the Czech Republic's domestic competition, Gambrinus stormed to victory in Poland and left Lotos uncertain about progression to the next phase of the competition.

The Poles are sixth in the group with just a single victory, and with only one sixth-place team advancing to the next round, Lotos must now wait and see how ZVVZ USK Prague (1-8) fare in their last Group B game at Dexia Namur.

Leading 33-29 with 6:34 to go in the second quarter, Gambrinus went on a tear.

Ivana Vecerova made a jump shot, Zuzana Zirkova added five straight points with a three-ball and a jumper and Jana Vesela sank a pair of free throws for a 42-29 advantage.

They kept up the pressure and with 1:54 to go in the opening half, the lead had ballooned to 48-30.

Lotos' chances had effectively been killed off.

Nolan's 20 points led all scorers while Zirkova and Eva Viteckova each weighed in with 18.

Gambrinus, the defending EuroLeague Women champions, haven't had it all their own way this year but the win on Wednesday has given them a 6-4 record.
