Easy Win For Ros Casares
// 11.01.2007

Ros Casares heaped further misery on Group C strugglers Lotos Gdynia on Thursday with an emphatic 76-50 victory in EuroLeague Women action.

It was a one-sided game from the tip-off as the Spanish hosts moved up to second in the standings with a 6-3 record, leaving Lotos bottom of the pile with just one win in the competition.

DeLisha Milton led the way for Ros Casares, with 10 points in the opening period helping the home team open up a 21-13 lead.

It was as close as Lotos got to their opponents, as the Valencia-based team then stretched their advantage to 42-27 at half-time, thanks in part to a late three-pointer from Anne Breitreiner.

That lead was 20 points by the end of the third period, before further scores from Milton and Laia Palau saw Ros Casares close out the game with room to spare.

Milton's impressive performances in EuroLeague continued as she finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.

Betty Bernice Lennox was the only positive for Lotos with 16 points.
