| With CSKA Volgaburmash not playing until Thursday, Bourges had a great opportunity to steal a march on their Russian rivals - and they did so with ease.
Guard Celine Dumerc (16 points) and center Emmeline Ndongue (12 points and eight rebounds) played starring roles for the French team, who are now on an 8-1 record.
The game was as good as over by half-time, with Bourges holding a 35-25 lead.
Their advantage was stretched to 13 points (53-40) by the end of the third quarter and they kept that cushion until the final buzzer.
The Czech team go to a 1-8 record and are in real danger of missing out on a top-five finish, with just one game left.
Their top scorer on the night was guard/forward Sviatlana Volnaya, who poured in a game-high 20 points. |
