Maroussi returned to the top of Group F in the EuroCup with a convincing 80-62 victory over KK Vojvodina.

Trailing 8-6, Maroussi reeled off 14 consecutive points for an impressive first-quarter lead but they weren't able to ride that to an early romp as Vojvodina stormed back in the second quarter.

A pair of Marko Scekic free throws closed the gap to 27-26, but Maroussi regained the initiative before the break.

Renaldas Seibutis scored four of the points in a 6-0 to close the half with a pair of free throws and a lay-up for a 44-35 lead.

Markos Kolokas, who led Maroussi with 16 points, nailed a shot from the arc to start the second half and Christoper Thomas followed with a jumper as Maroussi marched to victory.

Kolokas also had nine rebounds in a sterling effort.

Istvan Nemeth had 16 points for Vojvodina, who suffered their fourth successive defeat and thus have no chance of progressing from the group.
