ASK Riga made it two wins out of two in EuroCup Group F with an 85-71 home victory over winless KK Vojvodina Srbijagas.
The hosts got off to a bright start, jumping out to a 12-5 lead, but they allowed Vojvodina back into it before the end of the first quarter, and Ivan Ivanovic's three-pointer with 1:17 left in the period made it 19-16 to the Serbian team.

Consecutive jump shots from Raitis Grafs and Curtis Millage put Riga back ahead before the second quarter began, and the hosts never trailed again.
However, Vojvodina stayed in the game until half-time when they trailed by just two points, 40-38, before Riga began to pull away in the third quarter when they outscored their opponents 21-14.
Grafs finished with a game-high 19 points, while Steponas Babrauskas added 17, Millage 14, and Martynas Andriukaitis 12.
Aaron Bramlett came up big on the boards with nine rebounds for the victors.
Ivanovic finished as Vojvodina's top-scorer with 16 points, adding eight rebounds.
Ivan Paunic had 12 points and Dusan Djordjevic had 11 points. |
