| 05.12.2006 JDA Dijon became the first team to beat Estudiantes during this season's EuroCup after claiming an 81-75 victory on Tuesday.

| The lead regularly changed hands after that, until Dijon finally looked to have put daylight between themselves and Estu when a Lux lay-up near the end of the third period put them 52-46 up.
But Estu fought back again and actually led 58-56 heading into the final period.
It was Dijon who came out with all guns blazing at the start of the last 10 minutes though, and a Mathieu Evert three-pointer sparked a 15-5 run that saw the French side build a healthy 71-63 lead.
A hat-trick of Gonzalo Martinez free-throws threatened to make the game interesting again as Estu got back to within 71-68, but the Spanish side could make no further in-roads as they saw their 100% record disappear.
Estu, for whom Marlon Garnett scored a match-high 21 points, remain top of Group A with nine points, one ahead of Ironi Iscar Nahariya and Dijon.
The Spanish side host Iscar in their final group match, while Dijon are at home to winless CSU Asesoft Ploiesti.
Dijon's star performer on Tuesday was American center Lux, who aside from making a couple of key plays, paced his side with 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists. |
