GAME REPORTGeorgia thrashed Luxembourg 86-44 in their opening EuroBasket Division B Group C qualifying game on Sunday.
The Georgians took charge of the game by outscoring Luxembourg 27-11 in the second quarter and they then cruised to the win in the second half.
Four players scored in double-figures for Georgia.
George Tsintsadze led the way with 15 points while Tyrone Ellis registered 12.
Giorgi Gamqrelidze put in a solid performance, claiming six assists and four steals.
Martin Rajniak rattled in 19 points for Luxembourg, almost half of their total output as they fell to a demoralising loss. |
