Trailing 9-8 in the opening minutes of the game, Wojcik hit a jumper to ignite a 16-2 Poland run.

Wojcik would score five more points during the spurt as Andrej Urlep’s men went ahead 24-11 with just over two minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

Ukraine would cut the deficit to eight after one quarter of play and they got as close as three in the second quarter, but Poland answered by going on a 9-2 run to get their lead back to double-digits and held an eight point lead at the half.

They built the lead to 19 thanks to a 9-0 run late in the third quarter, with Andrzej Pluta scoring five of the nine courtesy of a three-pointer and jump shot.

The Polish defense allowed Ukraine to score just nine for the quarter,

The closest the Ukraine would get in the final quarter was 13 as Poland marched to their second win.
