Gambrinus Sika Brno swept into the quarter-finals of the EuroLeague Women with their second mauling this week of USO Mondeville Basket.

Looking to make it back to the championship game where they were denied last season by Volgaburmash, Brno followed up their 62-44 home triumph with a 92-58 victory at Mondeville.

USA star Delisha Milton had 21 points and seven rebounds, and Czech international center Petra Kulichova weighed in with 17 points and 13 rebounds for Gambrinus, who charged into a 19-7 lead early in the second quarter and never turned back.

The teams had managed to score a total of 19 first-quarter points, and Gambrinus then reeled off the first seven of the second quarter to take command.

Mondeville had been reeling at the end of the first period when Gambrinus turned up the heat.

Milton hit two jump shots in succession and Slovakian international Zuzana Zirkova made a shot from the arc for the 12-point advantage.

It got much worse. With a minute remaining in the first half, a Zirkova lay-up stretched the visitors' lead to 41-21.

USO Basket Mondeville got no closer than 14 points the rest of the way, as Gambrinus finished 11 of 15 (73.3%) from the arc.
