US Valenciennes were in imperious form on Tuesday as they thrashed Famila Schio 95-60 in EuroLeague Women eighth-final action.

Australian international Penny Taylor had 26 points for the Italian outfit but she and her team-mates were run out of the gym in the second half.

The Italian team held a 35-30 advantage with 3:49 to play in the second quarter but were then outscored 10-0 before the break with Sandra Le Dréan scoring four points in that spurt.

USVO went on a 6-2 run to start the second half and Famila struggled to keep up.

By the end of the period, the lead had ballooned to 16 and the Italian team were out of steam.

Over the final 10 minutes, the French giants outscored their opponents 35-13 for the comprehensive victory.
