Gambrinus Sika Brno rolled to 93-67 victory over Famila Schio in the EuroLeague Women on Wednesday to remain unbeaten in the competition.
Runners-up last season to BC Volgaburmash, Brno thrashed the Italian team for their third straight win in Group B.
Jan Bobrovsky's side was in a tense battle midway through the second quarter with a 27-25 advantage but Brno turned on the afterburners and raced to victory.
Delisha Milton, who led the Czech outfit with 21 points, sparked a 13-2 run with a jump shot and the home team went on to build a 47-29 lead at half-time.
Gordana Grubin's jumper with 6:43 left in the fourth quarter capped a 7-0 run and closed the gap to 68-59, but the outstanding Eva Viteckova responded with her second three-pointer of the game to restore a 12-point lead and Brno ran away from their opponents for the decisive triumph.
Gambrinus were nine of 21 (42.8%) from behind the arc compared to seven of 15 (46.6%) for Famila.
The Czech team also outrebounded Famila 36-28 in the contest.
Bobrovsky's players are tough to handle in the low post, which is clear by the number of trips they made to the free throw line.
Brno were 28 of 32 (87.5%), with Petra Kulichová nine of 10 (90%). She finished with 15 points.
The visitors from Italy, who have yet to win in three games, were 16 of 25 (64%).
Emanuela Ramon, Beathny Donaphin and Raffaella Masciadri each had 14 points in defeat.
Next up for Gambrinus is a November 16 clash with UMMC Ekaterinburg while Famila will attempt to enter the win column against Lotos Gdynia.
