Elaine Powell's basket right before the death gave Ros Casares their first victory in the EuroLeague Women at the expense of visiting USK Praha.

A team which has been playing as if it still has a hangover following the departures of key players Amaya Valdemoro and Rosi Sanchez in the summer to new clubs - the former is now in Russia and the latter in Italy - Ros Casares had suffered back-to-back defeats in their first two European games.

They looked to be heading for a third setback when Janell Burse scored to give the Czech team a 78-74 advantage with three minutes to play.

Ros Casares slammed the door shut on the Praha offence, however, not allowing another point in the game, and they pulled level at 78-78 with just 22 seconds to play on a shot from Spanish international Elisa Aguilar.

The game was still USK Praha's to win, but they failed under pressure.

Ros Casares fouled immediately. The visitors, who were not in the bonus free throw situation yet, had to inbound the ball but they turned possession over.

Just two seconds from the end, Powell, scored the two points to clinch the triumph.

French center Nicole Antibe had a season-best 20 points in EuroLeague Women. Ros Casares won despite being out-rebounded 37-28 in the game.

Burse could not have done much more as she finished with a game-high 28 points and 10 rebounds.
