The outcome was in doubt until the closing seconds but two free throws from Elisa Aguilar with six seconds remaining effectively settled the outcome.

The Belgians started well and led midway through the first quarter but Ros Casares hit back to take the first period 14-9.

Namur were not giving up and took the second 21-18 although the Spanish club led at the interval.

The third quarter saw the Valencia outfit extend its lead to eight points by taking the quarter 19-13.

Namur battled back courageously and took the fourth period 27-23 but that was not quite enough to prevent Ros Casares taking their record to 5/4 while Namur still only have one win to their names.

Rebekkah Brunson's 22 points and 17 rebounds - both game high - were in vain for the visitors as was a 19-point contribution from Nicole Ohlde.

Adrijana Knezevic was the top scorer with 19 for the victors and received stout support from Aguilar (12) and Noemi Bofill (11).
