Mondeville Open EuroLeague Women With Road Victory

USO Basket Mondeville are off and running in the EuroLeague women after a convincing 65-57 win at USK Praha in the Czech Republic.

Ivanka Matic had 15 points and eight rebounds for the visitors, who are coached by Herve Coudray and are playing in the competition for the first time.

Last season Mondeville played in the FIBA Europe Cup Women and though this tournament is a step up in quality, they have had an encouraging result.

Emilija Podrug weighed in with 13 points and Krissy Bade 11 for the French team.

Sviatlana Volnaya had 14 points in defeat for Praha.
