Mondeville Pick Up Fourth Win
// 30 November 2005

USO Mondeville Basket made it four wins from six games in Group A after seeing off lowly USK Praha, for whom it is now six successive EuroLeague Women defeats this season.

The Czech side boasted the leading two scorers in the game in Janell Burse (31 points) and Sviatlana Volnaya (26) but, with no other player making it beyond eight points, they slumped to yet another reverse, going down 89-81.

The home side quickly established control and Emilija Podrug's jump shot at the end of the first period saw Mandeville build a 29-15 lead at the first changeover.

The Czech team reduced that deficit to five points (46-41) in the second period on the back of Burse's two free throws but they would get no closer in the remainder of the game, Mondeville ending the half with a 7-0 run to lead 53-41.

The French side kept Praha at arm's length after that and although their winning margin at the end was only nine points, the victory never looked in doubt.

Guard Grace Daley led Mondeville with 25 points while the team was 42.8% from behind the arc compared to just 28% for Praha.
