Spanish international Rudy Fernandez poured in 19 points as DKV Joventut extended their 100% record in Group L of the EuroCup round II on Wednesday night with a 98-80 victory against EKA AEL Lemesos.

Shooting guard Fernandez led a balanced attack which also saw Robert Archibald and Elmer Bennet each add 14 points.

DKV gained the edge in the first quarter with a nine-point run which gave them a 22-13 lead with 1:59 remaining in the period.

The Cypriots hit back to reduce the deficit to 44-43 at half-time but a fourth quarter streak took DKV from 79-71 ahead to 94-76 late in the contest.

Fittingly it was Fernandez who claimed the last bucket with a two-point jump shot.

Frankie King contributed 17 points for Lemesos while Balsa Radunovic added 16 but it wasn't enough to prevent their side from slipping to an 0-2 record after a heavy defeat to BC Khimki in their opener.
