Lokomotiv Rostov maintained hope of making it into the last eight of the EuroCup with a 69-51 victory against Slask Wroclaw.
Lokomotiv were missing Jose Jaime Lloreda Ferron, their top scorer in the EuroCup, but Dmitry Sokolov stepped up to claim 17 points and nine rebounds as the home side improved to 3-2 in Group K with one game remaining.

| The Russian center has just turned 21 and averaged 3.9 points per game in the EuroCup before Tuesday's clash.
Alexander Miloserdov also claimed 17 points while Israel international Afik Nissim had 15 points for the Russians, along with six rebounds.
American center Kevin Fletcher scored 15 points for the Poles, who are now out of the running, while veteran Rafal Bigus had 13.
Lokomotiv quickly went five points ahead but Slask closed to within two by the end of the opening quarter before edging ahead at the start of the second.
Fletcher kept them in front until his turnover allowed Nissim to nail a three-pointer with four seconds of the half remaining to give Rostov a 27-26 lead as the teams went into the locker rooms.
Successive jump shots from Dzianis Korshuk (eight points) put Slask up 35-31, but they were blown away as an 18-2 run to the end of the quarter put the hosts in control.
Fletcher scored eight of his 15 points in the final quarter as Slask battled gamely, although they failed to close the gap. |
