Phillip Jones scored 30 points as Pallacanestro Cantu collected their first victory in Round II of the EuroCup with convincing 97-80 decision over Dynamo Moscow Region in Group J.
Jones made six of nine three-pointers and the Italians hit 12 of 25 from behind the arc to secure the home victory. Kebu Stewart added a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds while Nicolas Mazzarino and Andrea Michelori each chipped in 12 points.

Audrius Giedraitis added 16 points for Moscow Region, who fall to 0-3 in the Group.
It was Giedraitis who started the game on fire hitting two straight from long range as the Russians opened a 6-0 lead. But the Italian sharp-shooters were on, especially Jones who buried four three-pointers in the first quarter.
The first 10 minutes proved a fine shoot-out as Giedraitis also made four from downtown in scoring 12 points in the first frame. But Jones had 16 and Cantu were up 26-25.
The second quarter was all Cantu as they hit three straight treys in opening a 52-33 advantage. The Russians were able to close it to 56-41 at the break.
But the rest of the game belonged to the Italians. Sergey Demeshkin's dunk with six minutes in the third cut the deficit to 10 points - 64-54. The advantage was 77-64 after three.
And the Russians would never get closer than 13 the rest of the way. Cantu's biggest lead was 22 points - 93-71 with less than five minutes remaining.
