Now the Russians are winless in two games and have dropped a home game already in the group. Russia international center Nikita Morgunov did all he could to help his team with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one blocked shot.
Audrius Giedraitis scored 14 points and Ivan Zoroski and Vladimir Shevel added 10 each. But the Russians' guards couldn't handle the ball well enough as Maroussi grabbed 12 steals in the game.
The contest was tight in the first half as neither team could play away. It was 22-21 for the Greeks after 10 minutes and Dynamo Moscow led 35-33 at intermission.
But Honda took over in the third quarter, out-scoring Rutjanis Paulauskas's team 21-13 in the third frame to gain the momentum.
