Third-Quarter Spurt sees Bonn to First Win

Telekom Baskets Bonn took some of the sting out of their disappointing EuroCup campaign by capping off their involvement with a 67-58 victory over BC Barons.

Bonn entered Tuesday's game without a win in five games but Milos Paravinja's basket midway through the third quarter broke a 33-33 tie and sparked a 10-2 run to put the German team in front for good.

The hosts stretched their advantage to 16 points with a little more than four minutes remaining and cruised to their first triumph.

Paravinja paced the winners with 14 points while Latvian veteran Ainars Bagatskis, the Barons' player-coach, had a game-high 16 in defeat.
