Siauliai had been impressive winners last week against Dexia Mons-Hainaut, beating the Belgian side in a 74-73 thriller, but they dug themselves an early hole in France and never climbed out.
Nancy built a 30-16 lead late in the first quarter, and though the visitors reeled off eight straight points, the hosts kept their noses in front.
Siauliai would eventually close the gap to 48-43 at the beginning of the third quarter, but Deron Hayes buried a three-pointer for Nancy to start a 9-0 run which put the home side in command for good.
Nancy, the team that finished runners-up in France last season to Strasbourg, came into the season full of hope.
Their ability to bounce back from a 97-76 thrashing at Cantu suggests they are a determined side and will be a force to be reckoned with.
In addition, the form of Aurelien Salmon is an encouraging sign.
The 18 year old is one of France's top talents and has been a key member of the national team youth programme, representing the U18 team in 2004 and 2005. The 202 cm forward's 17 points included four of five shooting from behind the arc and he also bagged six rebounds.
Nancy are also flying high in France with five wins in their first seven games.
