France had few problems in their final Group A encounter in Bursa on Wednesday night against Germany.
After a close first half, France stepped up a gear in the third period and the Germans found it impossible to keep up.
Germany put together probably their best 20 minutes of basketball in the first half and only trailed by 7 points at halftime, 38-31.
But France opened the third period with a 17-2 run that put them in firm control.
France's lead was 20 points by the end of the quarter and the rest of the game was academic, as they rolled to a 79-48 win.
Elodie Godin led a balanced France attack with 14 points.
France now face Russia in an intriguing quarter-final match-up.
The last time the two sides met in official competition was during the quarter-finals of EuroBasket Women 2003, when Russia triumphed, 79-66, on their way to the gold medal.
