GAME REPORT

USK Blex 50 vs. ZKK Croatia 63

This evening in the Central Conference of the FIBA Europe Cup Women, USK Blex played host to ZKK Croatia in the second game of the best-of-two series. After having lost to Croatia on the road by 22 points last week, the tactic today for Prague was offensive basketball.

Knowing they had to win by 23 or more points, USK came out with a quick 6-0 run. Their hopes of maintaining their offensive fury were however halted throughout the remainder of the game as the Croatian team played steady on both ends of the court and went on to lead for the remainder of the game.

In the end ZKK Croatia, led by MVP Milena Vukicevic, won clearly 63-50 and now advance to the Central Conference semi-finals.

COACH QUOTES

Quotes USK Blex vs. ZKK Croatia

Lubor Blazek, Head Coach of USK Blex

"Zagreb proved to make good use of their 22 point lead from the first game. They defended very well tonight and didn't allow us to make up the point difference we needed."
