Lietuvos telekomas didn't get the usual stellar performance they are used to from Katie Douglas. Douglas, who was averaging a competition high 22.5 ppg going into Tuesday's game, was held to just 7 points on 2/14 shooting.
Although Dexia managed to neutralise Douglas, her teammates stepped up to take the offensive load. Rima Valentiene hit 5/9 three-pointers to tie a season high 18 points and Sandra Valuzyte added 18 of her own, also a season best.
Lietuvos controlled the pace throughout and although Dexia stayed close, they could not take the advantage.
Dexia threatened in the second period, drawing to within 1 point (27-26), but 7 straight points from Jurgita Streimikyte-Virbickiene soon saw Lietuvos telekomas back in front.
The Belgian side attempted a last ditch comeback in the final period, but could get no closer than 4 points. Lietuvos telekomas stretched away in the closing minutes and are one step away from the quarter-final play-offs.
