Dexia Namur 85 vs. MAV
Coop SE 40

Needing a win tonight in order to secure a spot in the playoffs of the FIBA Euroleague Women, Dexia Namur came out and played intense basketball against MAV Coop. They jumped out to a quick 14-6 lead thanks to strong play from Sviatlana Volnaya, who was facing her old club. With help from Krystyna Szymanska-Lara and Anna Wielbnowska, Dexia had a comfortable ten-point lead after the first ten minutes of play.

MAV Coop had no solutions to Dexia as the home team opened up the second quarter with a nine to two run. The visitors had a temporary moment of clarity on the court and cut their deficit to 11 points, but Dexia answered back with yet another run to close out the quarter ahead 42-24.

Play continued throughout the second half strongly in favor of Dexia. Early in the third quarter they managed to increase their lead to 30 points and by the end of the fourth were up by 45. Thanks to great coaching by Patrick Delsaux and a balanced effort by the entire team, Dexia won 85-40 and with it, secure their spot in the playoffs.
