BK Lotos made their final step in the FIBA Euroleague Women qualifying round by beating Vojvodina Nis-Gas 85-57 at home. The first two quarters were highlighted with quality play from both sides, but the home squad was stronger and had a slight 44-34 advantage at the half.

In what was to be the deciding quarter, Lotos came out fired-up on the defensive end. With their overwhelming and intense defense, the home team completely shut down Vojovodina's offense. This proved to be the devastating blow as Lotos built up a 70-41 lead to start the fourth quarter.

The 30-point lead was too much for the visitors to make up, and in the fourth quarter the reserves from both teams saw a lot of playing time. When the final buzzer sounded, BK Lotos had won clearly 85-57. The MVP honors of the game went to Aleksandra Chomac who posted a career high 10 points, two rebounds, a block and a steal.

"After our poor perfomance in the Polish league we were very focused since the game started. We had to show our fans that we are playing for them in each, even theoretically easy game.
I am satisfied with 13 minutes I spent on the floor. It was my best game in Gdynia so far and I hope I can repeat it or even play better basketball game"
