VBM-SGAU Samara 94 vs. Tarbes GB 59
// 15 December 2004

The French team had an excellent start, taking VBM-SGAU by surprise, 0:7. The Samara players had not experienced anything like it this season.

But then Sheryl Swoopes took over the game. She finished with 13 points, but dished 7 assists in 26 minutes on court.

Olga Arteshina chipped in too with a successful range of three-pointers. The French players tried to resist but their starting run turned out to be the single flash in Tarbes' game.

At the end of the second quarter the teams went into the locker rooms with the score 52:29 and nobody doubted that Tarbes had no chance to win the game.

The second half was played with the absolute dominance of the Samara players and VBM-SGAU ended the game handing out another great defeat, adding a 6th victory to their winning record.
