László Rátgéber, Head Coach MiZo Pécs:
"I can say we really didn't play well, we didn't move and had a real trouble when Trutnov was only 3 or 5 points behind. Our defence didn't work properly and especially in the 3rd quarter when we missed a lot of easy shots."
Trutnov's players showed plenty of effort and I am sure they can be better and better from game to game. I want to thank all the fans in the gym for having created such a great atmosphere. It was nice to be here and play in the wonderful gym. Regarding the coming matches, we want to win all of them. We must fight and open the way to the Final Four."
Zdenek Sýkora, Head Coach BK Loko Trutnov:
"We were properly prepared for this game and have shown our maximum despite the fact we weren't at full strength. If it weren't for our 2 injured players who couldn't take part, the result could have been a bit better for us. We weren't influenced by the bad beginning when we couldn't score. On the contrary, in the 3rd quarter our defence showed its best performance. I want to thank all my players."
Timea Ivkovicne Beres, MiZo Pécs:
"It was the first game in the new year. We didn't show our best performance. Trutnov played well and we had to fight a lot.
Michaela Uhrová, BK Loko Trutnov:
We played a very hard match – and what's more, we missed two important players. We struggled and I think we reached a good result. The 3rd quarter was our best performance. We were faster and practised tough defence. Pecs didn't surprise us, we studied the video and were well prepared. However, we didn't manage to keep a proper defence during the whole game. I admire a wonderful atmosphere in the gym. We strongly believe we will win our game with Kosice which is of extreme importance."
