For their last game of 2004, Dexia Mons-Hainaut needed a win in order to keep its chances of qualification intact.
In the first quarter, the two teams seemed to be very nervous and there were a lot of turnovers. With the score at 7:6 (5th min), Mons-Hainaut made a little break thanks to 3 pointers from Evaldas Jocys and Roberto Bergersen, and at the end of the period the score was 16:11.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Anwil started playing with Ajani Williams (ex-Orlando Magic) who signed in Poland for one week and Fransunkiewicz, both of whom, with the help of Swanson (12 pts), helped their team to come back to 26-24. However, once again, Roberto Bergersen and George Evans gave the locals a 8 point lead (38-30) just before the half time.
In the third period, Dexia kept dominating the rebounds, especially on defense, and Bergersen's hands were hot from 6.25 m. Mons-Hainaut increased its lead which stretched to 16 points (57-41) after 27 minutes, and 13 points (59-46) at the 30 minute buzzer.
Beaten in the first leg, 77-70, Dexia was on the road to an important success. Bergersen continued his 3 point festival (7/8 from downtown!) and Dexia finished hard (72-56) with a good performance from Evans (15) and an inspired Evaldas Jocys (14).
MVP : Roberto Bergersen (28 pts)
