While Polish side Anwil Wloclawek are flying high in their domestic league, their FIBA Europe League struggles continue.
Visiting Russian side Khimki, Wloclawek suffered their fourth defeat of the season and fall to 6th place in Group C.
Despite Wloclawek's problems, they gave the home side a run for their money and Khimki was only able to secure the win with an aggresive 4th quarter display.
Wloclawek actually led for most of the contest and at the 35 minute mark ,held a 58-66 advantage. But a 3-pointer from Melvin Booker sparked a furious finish from Khimki, who outscored Wloclawek 17-2 in the remaining minutes to secure a close victory.
The win was Khimki's first over Wloclawek in 2 seasons. The two sides were matched up in last season's FIBA Europe League and the Polish team won both contests.
Robert Witka, one of only 2 remaining Anwil players from last season finished the game with 20 points.
Oscar Torres had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Khimki, while Booker also added 14 points.
